The Matthiesen Live Bottom Bin is a very versatile piece of equipment when you need to store product between harvests. The live bottom bin advances the product forward using a flor and front rake to keep product moving onto the screw conveyor to your bagging lines. Optional equipment can be added to the live bottom bin, such as slingers of leveling screws, to make your operation highly efficient.
Bin is used for temporary storage of product while awaiting utilization. When activated, the floor and front wall rake keep product moving to a bin mounted conveyor transporting, product to the next process station.

Transportation Information:
The width listed for each bin is the capacity dimension only and does not reflect the actual total width of the bin for transportation purposes. Depending on the configuration of the bin the width can be up to two feet (2′) greater. The drives and control box add 10-12″ to the width. If the drives and control box are on opposite sides, there could be an additional two feet (2′) addition to the width. We can also ship the bin unassembled to the level requested
Notes:
The actual height of the bin listed as 12’3″ includes the 38″ legs in height. The 12’6″ height is measured at the highest point on the bin which includes several adjustment rods on the top of the rake wall that stick up about 6″ above the top lip of the bin. The measurement from the ground up to the top lip of the bin is 11’10”. The standard discharge height of 30″ will accommodate the standard Matthiesen VLS bagger.
